Sara L. Steele

Sara completed her B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice at the University of South Carolina, graduating Magna Cum Laude. After college, Sara returned to Georgia to begin working at the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) as a juvenile probation officer. Sara’s work at DJJ solidified her desire to help children and families in crises through the criminal justice system. It was during this time, that Sara decided to go to law school. Sara earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from Georgia State University.

Prior to founding Sara L. Steele Law, LLC, Sara was a prosecuting attorney in juvenile court with the Hall County District Attorney’s Office and an Associate Special Attorney General in Gwinnett County representing the Division of Family and Children Services (DFACS). Sara’s experience gives her a unique perspective that enables her to assist her clients better. In addition to her experience, Sara brings steadfast commitment to the children and families she represents.
